American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Puce Patisserie, with the intention of sampling their cinnamon rolls and pate kode. Unfortunately, they didn’t have cinnamon rolls and were unsure when they would be restocked. I was particularly looking forward to trying the pate kode, given that Chez Katu had previously served it at the same location. However, the dough was thicker than anticipated, and the kode lacked sufficient meat. The beef was well-seasoned, but the griot was dry. My order consisted of two beef pate kode at $5 each, two griot for $6, and a Vanilla Matcha drink for $7.50. When I asks for sauce for my pate kode she told me I have to pay to get the sauce. The sauce should be included with the pate kode. While the drink was satisfactory, its size did not justify the price. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I felt that the food was overpriced. My total bill came out to be $31, which I did not find to be value for money

Such a lovely patisserie/bakery! The staff is so kind, everthing is clean and well-kept. The chicken pate kode I ordered was absolutely delicious πŸ˜‹. I know they've been busy lately, especially with so many customers going for the cinnamon rolls. Food service is not an easy industry at all. To anyone going there, please give Puce Patisserie staff the respect and grace they deserve!

Y’all just be lying just because!!! I was soooo excited to eat here after seeing them on IG. The cashier seemed aggravated I was asking what to choose from. The patties have a tiny bit of something in the center and the Haitian cake did not taste like Haitian cake at all. I didn’t taste no essence and it was EXTRA dry (HEAVY on the dry) Cashier lied and told me the cinnamon rolls were fresh but I guess a day or two days old is considered fresh today. I can’t find no good Haitian patties in Broward DANG!!!!

We love having them in Historic Miramar. Friendly staff, tasty goods. The patties have a buttery, soft texture with ample filling. Variety of cakes, cookies, pastries, cinnamon rolls, etc. The new partnership with Roll & Dough only enhances an already enjoyable β€œmama papa” business. A special shout out to Key for her warm customer service and recommendations. πŸ‘Œ

OFFICIALLY THE BEST PLACE TO GET HAITIAN PATTY’S IN MIAMI. The dough is buttery ! VERY FILLING, they are not stingy with how much meat they put inside like 99% of the other Haitian patty places very very flavorful this place should have a line outside their door everyday! I have to control myself from ordering frequently that’s how good this place is ! I hope they never change the way they do things! Officially my go to spot for Haitian Patty’s ! You go almost anywhere else you bite a patty nowadays and it’s nothing inside you’re eating dough that contains 5% meat lol or Either their to hard ! Either way no where else compares
